Credit Card Programs (VISA & MasterCard)
CUcorp provides credit unions of every size the opportunity to offer credit card programs to their members. Partnerships with Fidelity Information Services (FIS) and the Illinois Credit Union League allow credit unions to choose the level of involvement in and control of their credit card program. The levels vary from a complete turnkey program to an internal credit program.
- CU Lending Solutions League Correspondent Program - Experienced staff at CULending Solutions have been assisting credit unions with their credit card programs for over 16 years. CULending Solutions provides back office support functions including cardholder support services, 24/7 Voice Response Unit, data entry, payment processing, account maintenance, security services, marketing and portfolio growth assistance. This program allows the credit union to focus on marketing, loan approval, and collections. Click here for details about this program.
- Internal Credit Program - This program allows the ultimate in control over the card program. The credit union handles all aspects of their credit card program except plastic production and authorizations, which are handled by our partner, FIS. All cardholder data is housed at the credit union's data processing system. The credit union is responsible for all cardholder inquiries, maintenance, payment processing, statement production, etc.
- Apollo Program - This program was designed specifically for small to mid-sized credit unions and is offered in partnership with the Illinois Credit Union League (ICUL). The credit union controls the lending decisions, interest rates, fees, and collections. The ICUL handles cardholder inquiries and security services. The credit union retains 100% of the interest income and the fee income.
EZ Launch Program - This program offers a complete turnkey credit card program for small credit unions. Our partner, the Illinois Credit Union League (ICUL), handles virtually every aspect of the program including loan approval, underwriting and funding the loans, marketing, cardholder support services, payment processing, statement processing, and collections. The ICUL assumes all risk associated with this credit card program and the credit union earns a percentage of the interest income. All processing functions are conducted by FIS.
